How Omniphile compares

Omniphile is a native iOS and iPadOS app that tracks movies, TV shows, books, audiobooks and games in the same library, each in full detail. If you are arriving from another tracker, these pages cover what transfers and what changes.

Omniphile vs Sequel

Both apps track movies, shows, books, audiobooks and games, and they look alike. Omniphile goes much deeper on every kind, from readthroughs and playthroughs to statistics and an Apple Watch app.

Omniphile vs Sofa

Sofa is a downtime organizer built around lists. Omniphile is a tracker built around your history, with episode, reading and play progress, statistics and Trakt sync.

Coming from TV Time

TV Time shut down on 15 July 2026. What happened, whether your data is recoverable, and how to move to or rebuild in Omniphile.

Letterboxd, but for TV shows

Letterboxd is built around films. If you want the same diary habit for series, with episode-level progress, here is how Omniphile handles both in one library.

Already using Trakt?

Omniphile is not an alternative to Trakt — it syncs with it, two ways. Connect your account in Settings and your movies and shows, their history and their ratings stay mirrored between the two, which means that part of your library also lives on a service that does not depend on Omniphile.

Bringing your library with you

Omniphile imports movies and shows from TV Time, IMDb, Trakt, Letterboxd and Sofa Time, books from Goodreads and StoryGraph, games from HowLongToBeat, GameTrack and Minimap, and whole libraries from Sequel and Sofa. The migration guides cover the ones that need a few steps on a computer first.
